For editing, subscriptions, accessibility, or data requests, email the opencuter support team. Include a description of the issue and your browser; keep full payment card details out of your message.
Write to supportWhich browser should I use?+
A recent desktop version of Chrome or Edge gives the best editing experience. There is nothing to install. Smaller screens can open the site, but a desktop is recommended for detailed timeline work.
Where are my media and saved projects kept?+
Selected files are decoded and edited on your device. The editor does not send them to a media server. Saving retains one project in this browser, including its source media; browser cleanup or storage eviction can remove it.
What can I import and export?+
Use media your browser can decode, commonly MP4, WebM, PNG, JPG, MP3, or WAV. Each file may be up to 500 MB, with 1 GB of media per project and a 30-minute limit per source clip. Export supports up to 1080p at 30 fps, in WebM or MP4 according to browser recording support. Keep the tab visible: rendering takes roughly as long as the finished video.
Does opening the workspace activate a subscription?+
No payment or trial is triggered by visiting the site or editing a project. A 60-minute trial starts only after a connected checkout confirms enrollment and displays the exact end time and recurring charge. Online enrollment is currently disabled.
How do cancellations and refunds work?+
Use the subscription portal when available, or email support@opencuter.net. Cancel before the trial deadline to prevent the first payment, or before renewal to prevent the next. Emails received before a deadline count as on time. For a full refund, contact us within 30 days of the relevant annual payment.
Who operates opencuter?+
WILLOW PAPER LTD operates opencuter independently. The workspace includes adapted MIT-licensed timeline ruler code from OpenCut Classic. It is a separate browser editor, not the complete OpenCut product or an OpenCut-endorsed service.
