Your source material and finished work remain yours. Obtain permission for copyrighted footage, music, images, and other protected material before using them. The local editor does not grant third-party media rights.
Notifying us of an infringement
Send a copyright notice to support@opencuter.net. Identify the work, describe the material at issue and its location, and provide your name, contact information, signature, and a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized. Include a statement of accuracy and authority made under penalty of perjury where required for a DMCA notice. Media edited locally is not hosted by us, so be specific about material actually accessible through our service.
Review and response
We evaluate sufficiently detailed requests and take measures appropriate under applicable law. We may request clarification or relay a notice to the relevant party. For applicable counter-notice procedures, contact support. Deliberately false claims can create legal consequences; this page is a contact procedure, not legal advice.
